AMCRC (the AMC Rambler Club) was founded in 1980 to encourage and promote the preservation, restoration, collection and enjoyment of the automobiles produced by American Motors Corporation during the model years 1958 through 1969.  The club also encourages preservation of all printed matter relating to these cars.

   In furtherance of these objectives, AMCRC publishes the Rambler Reader and the monthly News and Ad Release, holds and participates in national and local car meets, and maintains a club library of technical information.

  The MAD-CITY RAMBLERS CHAPTER OF AMCRC is our local branch.  We believe Ramblers are worthy of the time and effort put into them to keep them on the road. 

  We encourage anyone who is interested to join at the national level as well as our local chapter.  Although it is necessary to join nationally to join locally, we have never turned away an interested person.  Our aim is to preserve these cars as noteworthy classics, to enjoy them as autos to be driven or just admired, as part of our heritage as Wisconsinites.

   Our newsletter The Unibody Bulletin is published quarterly.  We host a summer picnic, Winter holiday party, Fall Color Cruise, and several meetings to discuss business related to the group, and occasional special outings - like the regional meet at the Graduation Car Show in Jefferson, WI June , 13, 2010.  

  We hope that AMCRC and its local affiliate, the MAD-CITY RAMBLERS , provide what you are looking for in a car club.  Feel free to check us out.  We look forward to you becoming a member
